Children and young people aged 12 and older are also welcome to attend our courses at the potter`s wheel \u2013 upon presentation of ID \u2013 but only if accompanied by an adult. Young people aged 16 and older are also permitted to attend the course alone.<\/p>\n
The price includes firing and glazing the finished products with a transparent glaze. If you do not want a colored glaze, then there will be no additional costs<\/strong> .<\/p>\n In all courses, the workplace and tools are cleaned and tidied up together during the last 10-15 minutes.<\/p>\n Your finished pieces<\/strong> can be picked up from us about four to six weeks later. We will inform you via email as soon as they have been fired. We ask for your understanding that we can't store the fired pieces longer than six weeks. Uncollected items are given away to passersby.<\/em><\/p>\n In case of cancellation :<\/strong>: Cancellations can be made in writing via email up to seven days before the course start date, and the course fee (less the processing fee) will be refunded. \nIn Level 1<\/strong> you will learn how to center clay <\/strong>and throw a vessel<\/strong>.
\nTo \"open the clay\"<\/strong> and \"pull up\" walls<\/strong> you will learn as well. You will learn how to trim your pieces<\/strong> and coloring with engobes<\/strong> .<\/p>\n
\nThe price includes firing of the finished products as well as glazing with a transparent glaze. There will be no additional costs<\/strong> .<\/p>\n
\nDuring the the second and fourth appointment<\/strong> you will trim the vessels. Trimming the vessels means refining and perfecting their shape. The vessels are then decorated with slip. Slip is colored clay that is applied to the vessel with a brush while it is still leather-hard.
