Tuesday to Friday
12.00 a.m. – 4.30 p.m.

During two days You'll become familiar with the potter's wheel, learn how to center clay using coning up to 1 kg, break it open, form walls, and throw vessels. You will be throwing a teapot with a lid, two cups and two saucers, or small plates. We throw a spout for your teapot "off the hump."
On the the other two days you will trim the vessels. Trimming the vessels means refining and perfecting their shape. You will also learn how to attach a snout, handles and grips. The vessels are then decorated with slip. Slip is colored clay that is applied to the vessel with a brush while it is still leather-hard.
After the first firing process (= bisque firing), we glaze your creations with a transparent glaze for you.
