Experience pottery with the wheel
The intensive experience: Pottery on the potter's wheel
Take your life into your hands… make your own dishes!
This is possible in an intensive week of pottery on the potter's wheel, because here we will throw, throw and throw again. On the second day, the pieces can get even bigger and more unusual.
In this course together with a maximum of five people you get intensive guidance while throwing on the wheel by two trainers .
After a short introduction, you will immediately sit down at the potter's wheel in this pottery course.
You will learn how to center clay and create a vessel.
To ´open up´ and ´pull up the walls´ you will learn as well.
You will make four to eight pieces like beakers or bowls on the wheel You can then color them with engobe and a brush.
After the first firing process (= bisque firing), we glaze your creations with a transparent glaze for you.
Monday to Friday
11.00 a.m. – 3.00 p. m. OR 4.00 – 8.00 p.m.

To know about this course:
With adult supervision, the course can be attended by people aged 12 and over. Alone ... 16 and over.
Your clothes should give you freedom of movement and allow you to get dirty. Your fingernails should be a short, practical length.
The course fee includes the material costs (clay, transparent glaze).
Your finished pieces can be picked up from us about four to six weeks later. We will inform you via email as soon as they have been fired. We ask for your understanding that we can't store the fired pieces for longer than six weeks .
In case of cancellation: A course registration can be canceled free of charge in writing via email up to seven days before the start of the course. If you cancel up to 24 hours before the start of the course, you will receive 50% of the course amount back. Missed course dates can not be replaced.
